Founder, Steve Nicholson
Steve moved to Amarillo, Tx from Oklahoma in 1991. He began inviting his friends to work out in his garage because he loved to share his knowledge of boxing with them. Over time the group grew to the point an extra storage area was used to provide more workout space. This is where Nick's Fight Club began. Steve looked at everyone, believed in them, and saw their potential. His motto, "Motivate, Encourage, and Inspire" still lives on at Nick's every day!
What We Do
Nick’s Fight Club is a boxing fitness gym specializing in a one-hour cardio boxing class. With a 4-station setup, you get a full body workout targeting every muscle group while building endurance and strength. Exercises change daily as every trainer creates a customized workout. Boxing Heals
Nick’s Fight Club in Amarillo, TX is proud to offer training sessions for people affected by Parkinson’s disease (PD).
As PD progresses, standard motor functions can become more difficult. Movement and stability become a paramount concern. We have studied the processes and fundamentals of Motorvation USA. Our trainers have been educated in their methods and we use their framework for developing our workouts. Motorvation USA oversaw our development of the training regimen and has given us their seal of approval.
If you know someone who has been affected by Parkinson’s, please let them know about our services. We would be honored to show them the facility and let them oversee a training session. We believe we have a process that will improve their lives and are excited to help as many people as possible.
